Pomegranate

 

This beauty is packed with loads of Vitamin K,C, Folate, Potassium, B6 and Phosphorous. So like it's really good for you... I mean like really good for you. There are antioxidants too, meaning it's a superfood. Don't know what an antioxidant is? Well I'm not getting into it in this post, I would highly advise turning to google for the time being.

Back to my pomegranate – this angel is sweet, delicious and juicy. I peeled it this past Sunday and kept it in the fridge for a few days. I added them to my oatmeal and waffles in the morning (yes healthy waffles do exist) you can also sprinkle them onto your yogurt or smoothie bowl. These little ruby gems are packed full of flavour. 

Go out this weekend, get yourself pomegranate and spend some time peeling and cleaning it -- it is truly a labour of love.
